Outside of specified submission windows for the Rootstock Reading Series or other opportunities, we are not able to consider unsolicited script submissions. As a small theater company, we don’t have the capacity at this time to give your work the thoughtful review it deserves. If you’re interested in being involved with GAC, please keep an eye out for our open submission windows and come introduce yourself to us at a GAC show or event!

Our director-playwright speed dating events and the Rootstock Reading Series were created to provide directors with opportunities to connect with other artists and develop their work with GAC's encouragement. Keep an eye out for upcoming events on our social media, and feel free to invite us to any upcoming shows if you’d like us to see your work!

There are currently no auditions scheduled for any upcoming GAC projects, and we do not hold rolling auditions. Keep an eye on our social media for any future opportunities, and feel free to invite us to your shows so that we can see you in action!

We’re happy to receive resumes from stage managers or designers at any time — just reach out to us at goodapplescollective@gmail.com. We will keep your information on file and will be in touch if we would like to consider you for a position in an upcoming project.

GAC is a small-scale operation with only two year-round workers — Co-Artistic Directors Nina Goodheart and Sophie McIntosh. We're not currently seeking to fill any additional administrative positions. If you're interested in working on a GAC production or developing work with GAC, please see the relevant FAQs above.

The best way to get involved with GAC is to attend our shows and participate in our events! We love getting to know folks over a co-working session or while exchanging artistic inspiration at director-playwright speed dating. Please come introduce yourself — we'll be excited to meet you.

While we're a small-scale company, our commitment to paying folks for their labor means we don't take on shadows, interns, or volunteers. We're so grateful that you want to be part of our community, and hope you'll come check out our shows or events — and that maybe one day in the future, we'll be able to work together!
